FROOSTY®
Christian Kernchen (born 1970 in Berlin, Germany) lives and works in Munich, Germany. As the Visual AI Artist behind FROOSTY®, he combines classical photographic expertise with AI-assisted creative processes and digital compositing. From an early stage, he developed a strong passion for photography and visual design, which evolved alongside the technological development of digital media into a focus on digital imagery, visual compositions and AI-generated art.
Since 2009, Christian Kernchen has been working as a professional photographer specializing in architecture, business and corporate photography. His clients and references include international companies ranging from Audi to Carl Zeiss. His works have been published in professional journals, magazines and digital media.
Under the registered art and design brand FROOSTY®, he creates independent digital artworks, visual compositions and AI-generated Fine Art spanning contemporary, abstract, surreal, hyperrealistic and photorealistic art. His artistic approach combines conceptual development, photographic expertise, AI-assisted image generation, digital compositing and detailed visual refinement.
The FROOSTY® portfolio is structured into three clearly differentiated art categories: AI POSTERS, AI ARTWORKS and AI COLLECTOR’S EDITIONS. AI POSTERS may be offered as limited editions or open editions. Limited AI POSTERS are individually numbered but do not include a Certificate of Authenticity or a separate artist signature. AI ARTWORKS are offered exclusively as limited editions and include a Certificate of Authenticity; each work is individually numbered and hand-signed by the artist FROOSTY®. AI COLLECTOR’S EDITIONS represent the highest and most exclusive category and are offered as unique editions or in exceptionally small limited editions. They include a Certificate of Authenticity, are individually numbered and hand-signed by the artist FROOSTY®, and additionally feature a FROOSTY® embossed stamp.
In addition to these three main art categories, selected FROOSTY® artworks, motifs and designs may also be offered as greeting cards, postcards, collector cards and other selected design and merchandise products. Depending on the respective product or series, these may be available as open editions, limited editions or limited releases. Fine Art Giclée prints are produced on high-quality, age-resistant Hahnemühle Museum artist papers using professional pigment-based printing technology. The artworks are distinguished by a precisely controlled color mood, a high level of detail and a balanced visual impact.
